One hiccup. I. Booked the hotel as it states beds n NOT one rolling bed. Picture also indicates proper beds. But when we check in, we were given a room with a rolling bed. The hotel staff is quick to act. Fortunately for us room is changed with proper beds. The new room looks exactly like the picture based on what I booked. Hotel should be more upfront in their rolling bed policy. It is very misleading. Other than this unhappy incident. Rest of stay is pleasant. Though their housekeeping keep thinking we have 2 guests when there are 3. Unique beautiful design. Cosy. Friendly helpful staff. Good location near BTS. Walking distance straight down to Erawan Shrine n central world area. Staff always have a smile n helpful. Breakfast area has a pond with fishes. Spread is fab

Quiet and clean rooms, good sleep, beautiful decor, good restaurants, clean pool, overall all satisfying facilities, they have everything you need in the room including mini bar, toothbrush set, shower cap, slippers etc. the body cream makes my skin so soft now I regret didn’t buy a bottle before I left. All staffs are incredibly nice and helpful. Eak at the concierge is the star, he was so patient with my question and spent lots of time helping me. Overall this is truly what you would expect a five star hotel should offer, unlike the other hotels I stayed for the rest of the journey which cost the same if not more yet aren’t as good as this hotel. This is my second time here, and I sure will be booking here again the next time I’m in Bangkok.

The city’s infamous traffic is not much improved with fewer tourists so the convenience of the excellent skytrain system in getting around is what makes the Anantara a great choice. The interior decoration style has not changed in the hotel’s 40 years history and the dark wood panelling especially at the front reception area needs an update. It was not a bright welcome and the same goes for the outdated decor of the Executive lounge. Needs a renovation. The food and beverage offerings are superb and typical of most 5 star hotels in Thailand, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. And nowhere in the world can beat Thailand for the most amazing service standards.

Luxe hotel in the centre of Bangkok. Everything is so lovely at this hotel from when you enter the beautiful lobby to the rooms, pool, gym, dining spaces. Breakfast buffet is incredible so much choice. The cafe serves snacks, cakes and savouries. The main restaurants and lobby bar also great. Staff are outstanding. Rooms are well presented and made daily - what a luxury! Showers excellent. Plenty of bottled water, tea, coffee etc for when you get back from sight seeing. Many nearby shopping centres if thats what you like within 10 min walk. So easy to take the Skytrain for Bangkok sites. The reception staff can always find a taxi. Didn't want to leave!

Very friendly and helpful staff, except for a couple of them who seem to not much appreciate asian guests, which was a bit disappointing, but the property is not to be blamed for this I suppose. Would definitely recommend the place and even stay there again myself.
